Howie Pinault:

Howie1cropforweb.jpg (21775 bytes)Howie, our lead vocalist, is the inspiration of the band, having played  since he was 18 both as a single performer and with several local groups.   Originally specializing in folk rock, he performed at area clubs and restaurants.  Over the years he has started and played in many rock bands.

Howie plays both Lead & Rhythm guitar with the same passion with which he sings for The Flat Hill Band.  His keen ear and feeling for the music leads the band.

Larry Warner:

Larry1cropforweb.jpg (29929 bytes)Lead guitarist Larry Warner wails on the electric and acoustic guitar.   A natural since he was a teenager himself, Larry has perfected his style over the years by taking lessons with refined teachers.  He hooked up with Howie's original rock band a few years  ago before the two broke off to form The Flat Hill Band.

Larry's mastery of the strings complements his vocals in a number of the songs.

Bob "Hutch" Hutchinson:

Hutch1forweb.jpg (32261 bytes)Bob's background, drumming for a number of bands all over New England for 25 years, ......... A friend of Ted & Larry's from work, Hutch volunteered for the percussion job.

His current combination of 7 drums and 4 cymbals are just one of his many drum sets.  Seems like every practice he swaps out a different cymbal.  "Hutch" is the comedian of the group keeping things light and fun.  We sound the best when we have fun!

Ted Kulpinski:

Ted2cropforweb.jpg (23658 bytes)Ted, Larry's older brother, has played guitar for 35 years himself, making him a natural fit in The Flat Hill Band.  However, with two six string guitar players already established, what the band really needed was a bass to round out the sound....which Ted picked up in no time.  In combination with Hutch on the drums, he effectively holds the beat for the band!

In addition, Ted is the sound technician and serves as the band's business manager as well.

Gail Kulpinski, Kelly Murphy, Sue Hutchinson:

A band is only as good as its support staff.  Gail guides the lighting  and helps spot light the performers.  Kelly works the sound board, keeping all of us in balance.  Sue not only runs the recording deck, but also sells our band T-shirts and caps (helping to pay for all of our expensive equipment!!).
